Holy shit, this is like reading my own life. The guy I absolutely adore has broken up with me over 20 times in 2 years & he is also bipolar although he’ll never admit to it being the reason for all of this.

My son took his life. I am so sad. I can understand why someone is driven to do such a thing. But spare a thought for the likes of me…….a mother who found her son……….dead……….worst thing I have ever experienced in my life. My god! to see you own child dead is a pain you will never get over.

It would fade out and start turning brown…if you want to fix it within a month then I’d fade it using the 1-4 steps and buy some of those sachets to take out the rest of the black completely, if you’re willing to risk hair damage, and then dye over it with a light brown. I did all that and my hair is now auburn.

i had brown streaks then dyed it brown permanently then dyed it “bitter sweet chocolate” which came out black so if i do your 1-4 steps what colour would show up? would the brown show up or the streaks? im hoping to try this soon. really dont lyk the black and cant stay out of public any longer!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, my hair is finally not black anymore this is what you need to do-

1. Use VO5 hot oil on your hair…you can buy it from most supermarkets, boots and superdrug.
2. Wash your hair with washing up liquid AFTER the hot oil but BEFORE shampooing.
3. Use head & shoulders shampoo & conditioner – it’s really good at stripping the colour out.
4. Pray.

I did the above and it faded the black very much. I then bought Loreal Effaseur Colour Stripper from ebay once it was extremely faded…This MAY damage your hair…mine isn’t but the ends are a bit dodgy…I used two sachets…If you are going to use it I recommend fading the colour as much as you can first…once you’ve used it you should deep condition your hair and re-dye it a LIGHT colour.

That sounds like quite a change and very busiy. Dont put too much pressure on yourself though, it needs to be sustainable. Hannah X
